FRANKFURT (dpa-AFX) – Before the Dax (DAX 30) is increased to 40 values in September, everything should remain the same for the German benchmark index for the upcoming index review this Thursday. The car dealer Auto1 (AUTO1 Group SE), which was recently included in the SDAX small cap index for IT leasing specialist GRENKE, can look forward to a place in the MDAX, has calculated index expert Silke Schlünsen from Stifel Europe. According to her, the wafer manufacturer Siltronic has to give up his place and get into the SDax.
As already expected from many sides, Vantage Towers is also expected to become part of the Dax family, which consists of the four indices Dax, MDax, SDax and TecDax, as the second newcomer to Auto1 in the coming month. The Vodafone (Vodafone Group) radio mast subsidiary is likely to be included in the SDax and TecDAX.
In addition to ATOSS Software, which only had a short three-month rendezvous in the SDax last year, Grenke should also return. In the meantime, the company from Baden-Baden, which was under pressure due to allegations of balance sheet manipulation, has published its audited annual report for the past year. When the submission of the report was delayed, this had cost Grenke its place in the small caps index.
According to Silke Schlünsen, these three have to vacate their seats for the printing press manufacturers König & Bauer, the real estate investment manager Corestate (Corestate Capital) and the rail technology company Vossloh.
The Stifel Europe analyst expects the TecDax to be the manufacturer of laser systems, LPKF (LPKF LaserElectronics), who will probably have to retire from Vantage Towers.
Deutsche Börse will notify you of any changes in the Dax family indices on Thursday, June 3, after close of trading. They will come into force on Monday, June 21st.
Index changes are particularly important for funds that precisely replicate indices (ETF). There must then be reallocated and reallocated accordingly, which can have an impact on the share prices./ck/ajx/he
