PARIS / LONDON (dpa-AFX) – Investors on the European mainland stock exchanges remained on the defensive on Thursday. Furthermore, in times of rising corona infection numbers, they shied away from the risk of further lockdown measures.
The EuroStoxx (EURO STOXX 50) fell by 0.29 percent to 3171.41 points, which meant the fourth day of losses this week. In the meantime, the leading euro zone index had slipped below 3136 points to a low for almost a month. In Paris, the CAC 40 barely moved with a minus of 0.05 percent to 4851.38 points, while the London FTSE 100 gained 0.16 percent to 5785.65 points./la/jha/
