Alternative lending: invest directly in German SMEs and receive fixed interest
Kapilendo provides corporate loans and fixed interest rates to investors online.
Capital is required for a company to grow. However, traditional banks are increasingly reluctant to give loans to small and medium-sized companies in particular. On the other hand, private investors are desperately looking for interest. Kapilendo brings both sides together on the online platform www.kapilendo.de.
The idea: A company presents a project to be financed on Kapilendo and investors lend it money. If the financing requirements are met, the loan is paid out to the company. The investors then regularly receive fixed interest. Repayments are made at the end of the term or in stages.
Investors invest their money transparently and independently.
Investors decide for themselves who and for what they make their money available and get to know the company and the managing director or sales manager digitally. In short films, Kapilendo introduces the financing projects, the company and the entrepreneur to investors. The business models are diverse and range from well-known brand names such as the catering chain L´Osteria to classic medium-sized companies such as a producer of spring and bent wire parts up to growth companies like the technology company Raytrix GmbH.
There are strict criteria for companies.
Companies selected by Kapilendo must have been in the market for at least 3 years and have a turnover of EUR 300,000. There must be a positive equity ratio and a positive business result. The Kapilendo rating team reviews the companies in detail and at bank level. In addition to the key financial indicators, the team also takes into account criteria such as industrial sector, market position and market development. Based on the result of the credit analysis, the rating team determines the rating conditions and sets the rating indicators, such as the asset class and interest rate p.a. and repayment schedule. If the review process is successful, the projects are funded on the platform.
From 100 euros, investors are there – without any fees.
Private investors can invest in financing projects at Kapilendo from 100 euros and up to a maximum of 10,000 euros. There are no fees. Investors can find an overview of all investments made in their personal portfolio. Here you can see at any time how much money has been invested, for what period and at what interest the money is tied up. The division of the projects is shown with an interactive customer diagram, e.g. a cluster risk is discernible, which should be avoided by increasing the diversification across different projects and industries. Investors can make their investment anytime, anywhere without the hassle of searching or filling out documents. Simply by smartphone, tablet or desktop computer. www.kapilendo.de
