Today Bitcoin managed to surpass the $ 15,000 mark, something that the crypto community had not experienced since 2018. However, the sentiment today is completely different from that time.
Bitcoin, the king of kings
During this last week that, in fact, has been of the presidential elections of the United States, the crypto leader has gained 11.31%. And, over the last 24 hours, it has risen 7.01%, according to data from CoinMarketCap.
Obviously all Bitcoin holders are celebrating right now; in fact, the data reveals that 97% of those who own Bitcoin have seen profits.
Only yesterday we saw how the leading crypto exceeded USD 14,000 and we wondered if it could hold. Today, in a very similar scene, we see Bitcoin position itself at $ 15,000.
At the time of writing, Bitcoin is slightly above $ 15,000.
Today’s question is: Will the presidential election be the main catalyst? Just today we talked in CryptoTrend about Dan Held’s Tweet where he pointed out how the crypto leader increases after each election to the US presidency.
What will happen tomorrow? Will Bitcoin surprise the crypto community again and break a new high?
Big crypto withdrawal surprises Binance
According to CoinTelegraph, data from CryptoQuant revealed that Binance recorded its largest crypto withdrawal from Bitcoin this week. Specifically, 58,861 BTC were withdrawn in one day.
This coincides with what was detected by Whalemap, who recently reported on Twitter that high volume movement has been detected.
And, in addition, it coincides with what was reported today by CryptoTendency where we point out that the indicators indicate that the Bitcoin whales do not want to sell their crypto.
Crypto FTX founder was one of the funders of Joe Biden’s political campaign
Just yesterday we were talking about how accurate crypto predictions have been and how this year they had been a better option than traditional surveys.
Today the crypto community learns that Sam Bankman-Fried, founder of FTX, contributed $ 5.2 million to Joe Biden’s campaign; making it one of the most notable donations.
The crypto community found out thanks to Opensecrets.org, a website that groups the main contributors to the 2020 US presidential race. Curious, right?
Even more interesting is when we see that Bloomberg offered a donation of $ 57.5 million.
What the community is asking now, and with all the right, is whether it is a type of lobbying with the presidential candidate.
Has it happened to you that you pay more in commissions than the amount of the transaction? Well, this crypto user does
An Ethereum crypto user made a terrible mistake that we all have nightmares about. Basically the user spent USD 9,300 in fees to send only USD 120.
All this was made known through Reddit where an account called “ProudBitcoiner” published the experience. He explained that the crypto user mistakenly entered the wrong transaction fee while trading, accidentally spending 23 ETH.
The user turned to Reddit for support, inserted the link to the transaction to verify it, and wants to recover what was lost. The problem is that nobody is obliged to return anything. Unfortunately, any typographical errors during a crypto transaction are your responsibility and are final.
The most that miners could do is return their profits if they so wish. However, at least for the moment, the crypto user has had no luck.
