As we said weeks ago, Microsoft filed for patent number “W02020060606”. In which, if you are “active” in cryptocurrency mining, you only have to think to mine.
Being part of the cryptoverse is easy, but not so much if you want to be active in the world of cryptocurrency mining. This requires a good initial investment, advanced technical knowledge, and more money to efficiently maintain the cryptocurrency mining process.
Unfortunately not everyone can be part of this world, but not the panic. With Microsoft’s patent number “W02020060606”, you can mine cryptocurrencies only with traditional physical activity.
Can we really mine cryptocurrencies with exercise?
Microsoft filed a patent application for “cryptocurrency system using body activity data” and received the number “W02020060606”. However, there is some controversy, given that the application, which was filed in 2019, does not mention implants, 5G, or vaccines.
It is that to be honest, if we look a little at the patent it will leave us with more doubts than answers. But here we will try to deny some of the issues that have been generated.
Microsoft Technology Licensing, the licensing arm of Microsoft Corp., has obtained an international patent for a “Cryptocurrency System Using Body Activity Data”. The patent was published by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) on March 26 of last year.
According to Espacenet, a database of the European Patent Office, the description of the patent is as follows:
“The human body activity associated with a specific task provided to a user can be used in a cryptocurrency mining process. A server can provide a task to a user device that is communicatively coupled to the server. “
Will there be a sensor implanted in the brain?
“A sensor connected communicatively or understood in the user’s device can detect the user’s body activity” It is in this part of the patent that the fact that it is a body implant is denied.
In the document, the placement of sensors in the body to mine cryptocurrencies is not mentioned. Even the patent drawing clearly shows the person separated from the sensor that would be in the device.
Within the “Original Documents” of the patent, there is a description of the user’s devices. Microchips embedded in the body are never mentioned.
The user’s device may include personal computers, servers, cell phones, tablets, laptops, smart devices. For example, smart watches, something popular today.
The cryptocurrency system, communicatively coupled to the user’s device, can verify if the body activity data satisfies one or more conditions established by the cryptocurrency system. And with this, cryptocurrencies are granted to the user whose body activity data has been verified.
Another false claim about the patent application is that it will use “5G”. While technology companies like Microsoft try to use the latest technology in their products, there is nothing in the patent description that 5G wireless communication technology would be used.
